Technology Automation
A comprehensive range of KOJA elements that are powered and communicate using a proprietary protocol over the RS 422 bus. Line power is provided through unified converters to USB or TCP/IP communication. All elements are operated using specialized KOJA applications or, with consent, third-party applications. The line can be equipped with an application element with the possibility of emergency operation, i.e., ensuring selected functions even without the presence of an application server.

Main features of KOJA automation and PLC elements:
- Individualization – each element (any input and output of any component) can be logically named and operated through the application server in our system. If the required function is not available, we are able to adapt the device firmware to the customer's desired requirements.
- Modularity – all our elements communicate over a unified bus, forming communication loops. If needed, such elements can be easily added to or removed from the communication loop. Each element has its own identification for easy integration into the application and its subsequent management.
- Proprietary Protocol – this is a non-public secure KOJA_RS422 protocol designed for controlling individual elements and their administration. It is specially created for automation and PLC technologies in an industrial environment communicating over long distances.
- Power Supply – individual elements on the KOJA_RS422 bus are simultaneously powered by this bus. To create communication loops, common wiring in the form of structured cabling can be used without the need for additional power supply to end elements.
- Emergency Operation – our elements are equipped with the possibility of emergency control, e.g., through mechanical inputs such as buttons. Thus, even without full computer support, it is possible to activate, for example, emergency response technologies for corporate fire departments.
